Resetting DraftSight to Default Settings

Stephanie Rodas

If you are having problems in DraftSight with customization not working correctly or other unexplained issues, your user settings may have become corrupt. Below are the instructions on how to revert back to default settings for DraftSight.

Here are the steps for reverting to default settings:

1.) Close DraftSight

2.) Open Windows Explorer and browse to

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\DraftSight\<version number>

3.) Right Click on the Profiles folder and choose "Rename", append -OLD to change the entry to Profiles-OLD.

4.) Restart DraftSight and check if the issue still occurs.

5.) If renaming the Profiles folder did not fix the issue, browse to

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming and rename the DraftSight folder.

The issue should no longer occur.
