How to Share Your Screen with Hawk Ridge Systems Technical Support on a Call

Once on a call with a member of our Hawk Ridge Systems Technical Support team, you can easily share your screen to show us an issue. Let our team member know you'd like to start a screenshare and follow the instructions below. 

  1. Click on the link below and request a Zoom Meeting ID. 
    http://join.zoom.us
  2. After joining the meeting, a dialog box will automatically open up, and click on Open Zoom Meetings.

Note: If the above dialog box does not open up automatically, click on Launch Meeting and manually open the downloaded Zoom application.

  1. Type your name and select Join meeting.


  1. Close the Audio Conference options dialog box to continue your call through your phone call.

  1. Click Continue in the "Do you want to continue without audio" dialog box to continue your call through your phone.

  1. Our team member will receive transcribed meeting summary notes, click OK.

  1. Select Share from the bottom banner to start sharing your screen.

  1. Choose your screen to share under Entire Screen and ensure the correct screen is visible under Layouts. Then select Share.
  2. Once you share your screen, a team member may request to take control over your mouse. Select Approve on the "[Agent's name] is requesting remote control of your screen" pop up to allow our team member to take control over your mouse and screen.

  1. Once the screenshare is stopped, select Leave to end the session.
