How to View SOLIDWORKS Licensing Information - MyProducts

Problem

This article is intended for SOLIDWORKS administrators looking to review SOLIDWORKS licenses associated with your organization. This tool is only capable of viewing licenses and product activations; it cannot remotely change the license status of any item.

Solution Step 1: Gaining Access to MyProducts

To access this tool, you must be the current Security Administrator for your organization and have access to SOLIDWORKS Subscription Services.

Access My Products HERE: https://myproducts.solidworks.com/

Within My Products, you can:

  • View all products that contain a unique serial number
  • View license expiration
  • View Support End Date
  • Click on any product to see included products entitled by the same serial number, and activation details for that product
  • Export a detailed list of your products to CSV file by clicking Download CSV in the top right.

    This CSV file will contain:
    • The latest software version you are entitled to
    • Serial Number
    • License Type
    • Quantity
    • Support End Date / Expiration
    • Active Machine List

Solution Step 2: Troubleshooting Product List is Restricted to Security Administrator Error

If you confirmed you are the Security Administrator for your organization and have access to SOLIDWORKS Subscription Services, but are still met with an error, clearing the browser cache can help resolve this issue.

These exact steps vary between browsers, but a good test is to utilize a private or incognito browser window and log in there to see if that demonstrates any different behavior.

In other instances, we have seen toggling (disabling and re-enabling) Two Factor Authentication for your 3DExperience account can help resolve this problem: How to Enable Two Factor Authentication for 3DExperience – Hawk Ridge Systems
