Problem

Customers who have purchased and have an active subscription service for the following licenses can redeem exam vouchers per calendar year: 

• All Commercial SOLIDWORKS Desktop CAD licenses
• All Research SOLIDWORKS Desktop CAD licenses
• All GSA SOLIDWORKS Desktop CAD licenses
• All 3DEXPERIENCE Works CAD licenses (3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS, 3D Creator, 3D Sculptor, 3D Structure Creator, 3D Mold Creator, 3D SheetMetal Creator)
• All DraftSight licenses

Users can redeem the following number of exam vouchers per calendar year:

• For DraftSight licenses, users have access to 1 DraftSight exam (per semester, per user, for each license of DraftSight on subscription service).
• For SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE Works CAD licenses: access to 3 exams (per semester, per user, for each CAD license on subscription service).

The annual semesters are January 1 through June 30, and July 1 through December 31. This means for SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE Works CAD licenses, you can redeem 3 voucher codes from January 1 through June 30, then another 3 voucher codes from July 1 through December 31. 

Solution Step 1: Prerequisites 

Before you proceed with the instructions in the next paragraph, make sure you:

1. Have a 3DEXPERIENCE Certification Account. Create one here if needed: 3DEXPERIENCE® Certification Center
2. Have a 3DEXPERIENCE ID. Create one following the steps here if needed: 3DEXPERIENCE ID | Dassault Systèmes
3. Check with your local administrator or SOLIDWORKS Partner to make sure that you have been added as a contact to your organization account. Your administrator must use the same email address that you use for your 3DEXPERIENCE ID when they add you as a contact in the DSx Client. Solution Step 2: Obtain the Voucher Code

Follow these Steps to obtain the Voucher Code:

1. Log onto the following website using your 3DEXPERIENCE ID or SOLIDWORKS ID. 
    https://3dexperience.virtualtester.com
2. In the Certification Center, click on "Your Credits" tab > "Subscription Offer" tab > "Lookup My Licenses".
3. Authenticate with your 3DEXPERIENCE ID when prompted. You will be redirected back to the Certification Center.
4. Click "OK" on the confirmation message and pick the certification exams you would like to redeem, and then click "Create Exam Vouchers".

Note: If you are encountering an error after the prerequisites are met, send an email to certification@solidworks.com with the email addresses of the users from the company that you would like to access the offer. 

Vouchers are issued with a lifespan of 180 days from the date of issuance. They can be used once regardless of whether you pass or fail the exam. Vouchers cannot be transferred to other users inside or outside of your company. Any individual wishing to obtain a free voucher will need to have a SOLIDWORKS ID connected to a valid serial number, as explained above.
