When the user launches Visualize or tries to borrow a Visualize license from a network license server, the following error messages can occur:
- Failed to obtain license for SOLIDWORKS Visualize
- Could not borrow the SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard license. Clock difference too large between client and server (-34, 14812, 0)
This could be due to the following:
- License server has not been reactivated after a license has been renewed; the license information on the server has not updated/realized the license is not expired.
- The license server has not been reactivated annually as required by the new SOLIDWORKS policy for 2022 licenses: Yearly Activation Required Starting with SOLIDWORKS 2022 – Hawk Ridge Systems Support
Solution
- Go to the machine that has the SolidNetWork License Manager 20xx
- Follow the steps listed in the following article to reactivate your license for 2023 and newer:
