Which version of the CustomTools installer do I need?

CustomTools Basic and Professional use the same installer package.  Select the 32 or 64 bit version based on your OS.  The Basic and Professional features are enabled based on your activation, in the same manner as SOLIDWORKS.

NOTE: 2015 is the last major version of CustomTools to support 32-bit operating systems, in line with SOLIDWORKS OS policy.

Supported Operating Systems:

  • Microsoft Windows Vista SP2
  • Microsoft Windows 7 SP1
  • Microsoft Windows 8
  • Microsoft Windows 8.1

The CustomTools version does NOT directly correlate with your SOLIDWORKS version.

CustomTools 2015 is supported in SOLIDWORKS 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

CustomTools 2013 is supported in SOLIDWORKS 2012, 2013 and 2014.
