This document will show how to reset the CustomTools Command Manager within SOLIDWORKS. Resetting the Command Manager may be necessary after a SOLIDWORKS upgrade or reinstallation. The CustomTools menu tab will display in SOLIDWORKS but there are no icons. Within SOLIDWORKS Tools > Add-in menu the CustomTools add-in is enabled.
Resetting the CustomTools Command Manager in SOLIDWORKS
Use the following steps to reset the CustomTools Command Manager in SOLIDWORKS.
- Open SOLIDWORKS and launch CustomTools.
- Navigate to Tools > CustomTools > Options > User Options > General menu.
- Press the 'Reset Command Manager' button under the 'User Options' Menu tab.
4. Click the 'OK' button at the bottom of the 'User Options' window.
5. Close SOLIDWORKS and CustomTools.
6. Open SOLIDWORKS, and activate the CustomTools add-in.
