DS License Server Computer ID

When using Dassault Systems License Server (DSLS) you will need to generate a computer ID and send it to your Reseller for a license file to be generated for your license. Follow the steps below to generate the Computer ID (also known as Target ID). These steps are for a Windows machine, but the programs to get the Computer ID from other Operating Systems are included in the attached zipped folder as well.

  1. Download and extract the attached zipped folder called "DSLicTarget125".
  2. Open the folder path <Folder location>\DSLicTarget125\Windows 64-bit to locate the exe called "DSLicTarget.exe".

  1. In a Windows Search Bar, type "cmd" to bring up "Command Prompt" and launch it.
