Problem
There are instances when the Part Image Quality is poor in the CAMWorks Legacy Machine Simulation application. The image may look "blocky" and not very detailed compared to when displayed in the CAMWorks environment.
Solution
The solution is to edit the parameters in the CutSim options with the steps below:
- Set the Data model option to 5-axis.
- Adjust the Accuracy to a higher value by dragging the slider toward High
- Re-run the part simulation with the new settings.
The setting may revert during future installs or even between sessions, so it is good practice to check this setting whenever the part display becomes distorted.
