How to Display SOLIDWORKS Envelope Components in Drawings

Problem

Envelope Components are excellent for visual aid and reference when modeling an assembly in SOLIDWORKS. They are removed from the bill of materials and any mass property calculations, but can be utilized to understand spacing and clearance within an assembly.

Envelope Use Case Example

Since the envelope components are considered references, they are not included in drawing views by default. However, there are times when it is desirable to include these envelope components in drawings.
