Problem
The CWREQ file is necessary to successfully request a new license file for the CAMWorks software.
When experiencing the CW License Manager application crashing or when it does not produce the necessary CWREQ file, verify that the user information text boxes do NOT contain any special characters.
Solution
The following characters are NOT allowed in the User Information boxes highlighted in the image below:
/ \ | ` ~ ( ) * ^ $ # @ ! [ ] { } ‘ “ : ; < >
