The CWREQ file is necessary to successfully request a new license file for the CAMWorks software.
If you are finding that the CW License Manager application crashes are does not produce the necessary CWREQ file, verify that the user information text boxes do NOT contain any special characters.
The following characters are NOT allowed in the boxes highlighted in the image below:
/ \ | ` ~ ( ) * ^ $ # @ ! [ ] { } ‘ “ : ; < >
