Technical Requirements for Instructor-Led Training

This article covers the technical requirements and recommendations for instructor-led training.  You may need to work with your own IT department for certain permissions.  Please ensure you meet all requirements or contact us at training@hawkridgesys.com for workarounds or support BEFORE the day class begins.

REQUIRED:

1. Zoom Desktop App: Download Zoom
2. Admin permissions for adding Solidworks folder locations - you may need to check with your IT
              *If unable, please use the Virtual Desktop during class hours instead of your own license
3. At least two monitors for easy viewing of your eBook, Solidworks, and virtual classroom.
4. A strong internet connection - Test Your Connection Here
5. Test your Virtual Desktop access & contact your IT if necessary (skip this if you plan to use your own Solidworks/CAM license)
   

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED:

1. Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as a browser (this may have a significant impact on your experience)
2. A headset with microphone for easy communication in class. Alternatively, you may use your computer audio with headphones, speakers, or use the dial in option. All students will also have access to a chat box to communicate with the instructor.
