Training Policies

This article covers all policies for Hawk Ridge Systems Instructor-led Virtual Training.

Purchases

All training purchases are final and will be invoiced upon receipt of purchase order. Classes, passes, or credit blocks must be completed within one (1) year of purchase date, or the purchase will be forfeited. Fees are non-transferable to other purchases.

Training Passes: Training pass purchases are good for one (1) named user per pass and expire one (1) year from the date of purchase. Passes are non-transferable to other users.

Training Credit Blocks: Training credit block purchases expire one (1) year from the date of purchase. Unused credits are non-refundable. Credits are only valid for regularly scheduled classes held online. Training Credits are consumed at the posted credit value of a course. Credits may not be used to purchase other training packages or promotions. Credits may not be used to purchase private or tailored courses.

Elite Training Credits: Elite Training Credits are only available with our Elite Subscription package. All purchases are final and will be invoiced upon receipt of purchase order. Training redeemed using Elite Training credits must be redeemed within one (1) year of purchase date (3-year expiration for 3-year renewals) or the Elite Training Credit(s) will be forfeited. Elite Training Credits are consumed at the posted credit value of a course or in whole $500 increments. Fees are non-transferable to other purchases.

 

Cancellations and Waitlists

Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly request that you give us notice of four (4) business days before the start of your class so that we may plan appropriately and accommodate other students. Failure to notify us of your intent to cancel will result in the forfeiture of the training seat. Please note that if a class does not meet minimum registration requirements, we reserve the right to cancel. Students will be notified no less than five (5) days prior to class start if their class has been cancelled.

Waitlist Requests: If/when a seat opens in a requested class, Hawk Ridge Systems will contact you. Seats are made available first come, first served.

 

Prerequisites and Technical Requirements

Prerequisites: Hawk Ridge Systems clearly posts the prerequisites for each course. We assume all students registering for classes meet the posted prerequisites. If you have any questions, please reach out to training@hawkridgesys.com.

Technical Requirements:

  1. At least 2 monitors, but 3 is best to include your eBook viewer.  
    • Note, your 3rd screen can be a tablet or personal device to view your eBook on
  2. Google Chrome browser
  3. A good internet connection (at least 10 MBPS)
    • Test your connection speed here: https://www.speedtest.net/th
  4. Course eBook 
    1. eBooks will be provided by Hawk Ridge Systems 1-2 weeks prior to the start of class
  5.  Most of our students prefer to use a headset with a microphone. Alternatively, you may use your computer audio with headphones or speakers
