How to Show/Hide Task Pane Toolbar in SOLIDWORKS

Problem

This article covers steps to show or hide the SOLIDWORKS Task Pane Toolbar. With default SOLIDWORKS settings, the Task Pane is displayed on the right side of the SOLIDWORKS user interface. When turned on, the Task Pane Toolbar shows and provides quicker access to certain Features and Add-ins through enabled tabs. These tabs may include SOLIDWORKS Resources, Design Library, File Explorer, View Palette, Appearances, Custom Properties, PDM, and other enabled Add-ins. A reference image of the Task Pane Toolbar is shown below.

Solution 1: Turn off the Task Pane Toolbar

To turn the Task Pane Toolbar on or off, within SOLIDWORKS, click "View" > "Toolbars" > "Task Pane"
You can also find the toolbar menu by right-clicking in a blank area of the command manager or at the top of the SOLIDWORKS Window and selecting "Toolbars" to turn on/off the Task Pane. If this does not work, then go to Solution 2.
