How To Enable Spline Handles

Problem

Spline handles are used to adjust the shape of a spline at its points. There are two colors of spline handles: Blue and Gray. Blue spline handles have been edited, while Gray spline handles are the original handles. This article explains how to enable spline handles and keep Blue spline handles visible even when the spline is not selected.

Spline Handles Example

 Solution

  1. Right-click on the splines and choose "Show Spline Handles"

    Show Spline Handles
  2. If the spline handles are completely missing when clicking on the spline, they can be enabled by going to Tools > Options > System Options tab > Sketch, checking "Enable spline tangency and curvature handles", and clicking "OK" to save the setting change

Enable Splin tangency and curvature handles in Sketch Settings

Now, without selecting the Spline, the Blue handles will still show.
