Parting Line Analysis Tool Grayed Out

If the parting line analysis tool is grayed out but all the other mold tools are available, this is because the option for software OpenGL is enabled.

 

 

To disable software OpenGL, make sure no files are open in SOLIDWORKS.  Then, navigate to Tools->Options->Performance and uncheck "Use Software OpenGL".
