Solution
Below is a list that covers different aspects of the Part FeatureManager Design Tree.
- A plus
icon to the left of an item’s icon indicates that it contains associated items, such as sketches. Click the plus
icon to expand the item and display its contents. To collapse all expanded items at once, press Shift+C or right-click the document name at the top of the tree and select Collapse Items. - If the Sketch is overdefined, it will show (+)
- If the Sketch is underdefined, it will show (-)
- If the Sketch cannot be solved, it will show (?)
- If the Sketch is fully defined, there is no Prefix
- Features that are preceded by the rebuild symbol
if a change has been made that requires the rebuild of the model. - Features are followed by the lock icon
or Snowflake icon if they have been frozen by the freeze bar.
- When there is an error in the model, there is a red down arrow icon
- When there is an error with the feature, there is a red X icon
- When there is a warning underneath the node, there is a yellow down arrow icon
- When there is a warning with a feature, there is a yellow exclamation point icon
- If a feature has an external reference, its name is followed by a right arrow icon –>
- If an external reference is currently out of context, the feature name and the part name are followed by a right arrow icon with a question mark ->?
- If the external reference is locked, it will show a right arrow icon with an asterisk ->*
- If the external reference is broken, it will show a right arrow icon with an X ->X
- A future version file shows a notepad icon
