How do I offset my toolpath by the tool radius but not post out any G41 or G42 tool compensation?

If you have toolpath on your part but its currently gouging because the tip of the tool is at the perimeter please use the following steps to offset the toolpath by the tool radius.

  1. Proceed to the NC tab of the operation
  2. Set the Toolpath Center option to With Compensation (this offsets the tool by the radius of the tool)
  3. Set the CNC Compensation to Off

Using the above will offset the toolpath but not post out G41 or G42 compensation in the code.

Toolpath Center setting controls whether to offset the toolpath in the operation or not and only affects XYZ coordinates (not G code). CNC Compensation when set to On will output G41 or G42 in the code.
