Changing origin circle size for DIN Ordinate Dimensions

Problem

This article goes over how to change the origin circle size for DIN Ordinate Dimensions. This is possible ot change starting in SOLIDWORKS 2017. Users can change the size of the Ordinate dimensions' origin circle when using DIN Standard, as shown below.

Solution

  1. Navigate to Ordinate Document Properties in Tools > Options > Document Properties > Dimensions > Ordinate

  2. Make sure the correct DIN Standard is being used before proceeding

  3. Once the standard is set to DIN, the 'Size' option at the bottom of the page will become available. 

Set the Standard to DIN 

  1. Select the 'Size' button, enter the circle diameter, and hit OK

Change the Circle Diameter and hit OK 

The diameter of the circle will then update in the drawing to reflect this change.
