PDM Client 'Soft Reboot'

This article describes how to restart the PDM client without rebooting the machine.

 

  1. Open the Task Manager. You can get here with a right click on the bottom of the screen> task manager, Cntrl+Shift+Esc, or Ctrl+Alt+Delete> Task Manager

  2. If your Task Manager is in the small format, click the 'more details' button to expand, then go to the details tab.

  3. End the following processes:
    explorer.exe
    edmserver.exe
    ViewServer.exe (if it is running)

  4. Go to File> Run new task> explorer> OK

Now go ahead and try to access the vault again.
