Problem
Upon completing a service pack (SP) upgrade of SOLIDWORKS, older installations of SOLIDWORKS will sometimes display the error: "Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product SOLIDWORKS 20XX SP0X. The Windows Installer cannot continue".
This does not appear to occur for new installations of SOLIDWORKS; it has only been reported after upgrades from a previous SP.
