Problem
This article walks through the steps necessary to restore a missing PDM Vault View menu bar. As shown in the image below, the Actions, Modify, Display, and Tools menu options are missing.
Solution
The menu bar can be made accessible by following the steps listed below:
- Open the PDM Administration Tool (Windows Start Menu > SOLIDWORKS PDM > Administration)
- Log in to the Vault with the missing menu bar. If you are not logging in as the user with the issue, log in as an administrator.
- Right-click on the Username with the issue and select "Settings"
- In the Settings dialog box, click on Menus, then click the "Reset" button. If you had a customized menu, you will need to customize it again.
After resetting the menu, it should appear as shown below.
