How to Change SOLIDWORKS Icon Colors

Problem

This article goes over how to change the SOLIDWORKS system options to change the SOLIDWORKS Icon colors. This particular setting changes the color of many often-used icons to match previous major releases.

Solution

  1. In SOLIDWORKS, go to Tools > Options > System Options > Colors

  2. Change the Icon Color dropdown to Classic and hit OK

    Change Icon color to Classic and hit OK

  3. Now the icons are changed to match how SOLIDWORKS was in 2014 & 2015
