Locating a SOLIDWORKS serial number

Problem

This article outlines how to locate a SOLIDWORKS serial number after the software has already been installed and activated.

Solution

A SOLIDWORKS serial number can be found by following these steps:

  1. Launch SOLIDWORKS

  2. Go to Help > About SOLIDWORKS (question mark icon at the top right)

    Click help and select About SOLIDWORKS

  3. Click the blue text "Show Serial Number" to see the Serial Number

    Show Serial Number
