After completing the online instructor-led portion of the Essentials course, work through the following:


Lesson Follow-up


1. Complete all the modeling exercises from Lesson 3 (Exercises 7 through 10). Save in your specified folder.
2. Complete Exercise 11, Part Drawings. Save and add to the specified folder.
3. Create a drawing using your model from Exercise 10, Base Bracket.
4. Complete Exercise 12: Pulley as shown in the book, using the provided part file.
5. Once complete, create a new file and create the three initial sketches shown. Save your files.
6. Why do you think the exercise uses two profile sketches, both located on the right plane?
7. Complete Exercise 13: Symmetry and Offsets 1. How is the inside radius of the part determined?
8. Create a drawing of this part following the methods show in the previous lesson.
9. Save your files in your designated folder.
10. Complete Exercise 16: Tool Holder. Save your file in your designated folder. Which end condition did you use to create this portion of the model?
11. Complete Exercise 17: Idler Arm. Save your file in your designated folder. In which plane did you create the first profile?
