3DEXPERIENCE Launcher connection issue


There was a recent connection issue discovered that prevents native 3DEXPERIENCE applications from running. In response, Dassault Systèmes has issued a mandatory update to correct this issue. The 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher program will need to be updated to version 21.52.634.

To check what version you have, navigate to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher. 


Another way to check the program version is to open the Windows System Tray -> Right Click 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher -> About

3DEXPERIENCE Launcher connection issue found on December 20, 2021 is resolved by installing version 21.52.634

The latest version of the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher resolves connection issue found on December 20, 2021. It is mandatory for customers to download and install the latest version of the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher (version 21.52.634). 

If you already face the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher connection issue, please apply the procedure as described below.

Regardless, this must be completed before December 24th .  

Starting December 25th :

  • any user who did not install the latest 3DEXPERIENCE  Launcher  (version 21.52.634)   will face the connection issue.
  • Only users with Desktop administrator's privilege will be able to install the 3DEXPERIENCE  Launcher  solving the connection issue that prevent Native Apps launching
  • For user without Desktop administrator's privilege, please contact your desktop administrator

This is an unexpected event,  not a security issue, we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

Detailed Procedure :

Cloud and On Premises : I’m administrator of my desktop PC or administrator of my company desktop PCs

Download and install the Launcher on all the desktops directly using the following LINK 

(Specific procedure for Windows 7 users uninstall the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher, download and install this SPECIFIC VERSION

On Premises : I’m a user :

Contact your desktop administrator immediately.

Cloud : I’m a user:

By clicking in any Apps, you will be automatically prompted to download the latest version of the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher . 


If the installation fails due to lack of desktop administration privileges, please contact immediately your desktop administrator in order to deploy the latest 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher (version 21.52.634).
