SOLIDWORKS Certification Free Exam Offer for Subscription Service Customers

Customers who have purchased and have an active SOLIDWORKS Subscription service contract can redeem two exam vouchers per calendar year, once during each of the two terms. The annual terms are January 1 through June 30, and July 1 through December 31. This means you can redeem one code from January 1 through June 30, then another code from July 1 through December 31.

Please note, as of April 10, due to the migration to DSX client customers will not be able to access the free certification offer and will encounter an error. The solution is to send a list of user's email addresses that would like to access the offer to with the customer's company name and SOLIDWORKS serial number on subscription that the customers are using. The issue will be promptly resolved.

To obtain a voucher code for a free exam:

1. Log onto the following website using your 3DEXPERIENCE ID or SOLIDWORKS ID.

*Note* If you are encountering an error, send an email to with the email addresses of the users from the company that you would like to access the offer.

2. Once you log in, there will be a dollar sign ($) shown in the left side navigation bar. Click it and follow the prompts.

Please note that a single standalone serial number can only be registered to one single SOLIDWORKS ID. For Network License Customers, users will still need to have individual SOLIDWORKS IDs in order to obtain the free vouchers.

Vouchers are issued with a lifespan of 180 days from date of issuance. They can be used once regardless if you pass or fail the exam. Vouchers cannot be transferred to other users inside or outside of your company. Any individual wishing to obtain a free voucher, will need to have a SOLIDWORKS ID connected to a valid serial number as explained above.
