DraftSight 2019 Activation Changes

This article discusses the changes seen with DraftSight.

As of March 18, 2019, DraftSight 2019 is no longer free. The following changes will be seen. 

• DraftSight 2019 for Windows® is offered in paid versions only.
• Once DraftSight 2019 (free 30-day trial or purchased version) is downloaded and installed, you will no longer be able to re-download or access any previous free version of DraftSight (2018 or earlier). 
• All free versions of DraftSight (2018 or earlier) will cease to run after 12/31/2019.

Importantly, all previous releases of the DraftSight free version (ex. 2018, 2017, 2016…) will no longer function after December 31, 2019. However, re-activation will still be possible from March 18 until December 31, 2019. 

Product Versions

There are now 5 DraftSight products. 

• DraftSight Standard
• DraftSight Professional
• DraftSight Premium
• DraftSight Enterprise
• DraftSight Enterprise Plus

Go to the DraftSight website and click Compare Features to view the differences of each product.

Technical support will only be provided to users with DraftSight Enterprise or DraftSight Enterprise plus licenses.
