In SOLIDWORKS 2016, a new option was added to the rx tool under the Problem Capture tab. Use the following information when sending files into technical support.
When performing a SOLIDWORKS Rx Problem Capture you may have noticed the option Record Extended Logging Data. When Record Extended Logging Data is selected SOLIDWORKS Rx logs disk and CPU activity and packages that data with other information for you to send to SOLIDWORKS Technical Support.
Having this selected on will be useful if you are experiencing hanging issues and other random issues that are not easily reproducible.
