Adding Additional Fonts To Use In SolidWorks

SolidWorks only recognizes TrueType Fonts (.TTF).  OpenType fonts containing TrueType outlines that use the same .TTF filename extension will work as well.

These fonts can be added to the Windows Fonts folder to make it available within SolidWorks.  There are several ways to do this:

1. Browse to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Fonts or C:\Windows\Fonts, and copy the font into that folder.

2. Right click on the downloaded font and select "install"

After adding the fonts by using either of the methods above, the fonts should appear within SolidWorks when editing text.
