Changing Dimension Font Color in a Drawing

This article describes the steps to change dimension font colors in a drawing using layers.

Bring up the Layer toolbar by selecting View> Toolbars> Layer and select the layer properties button.

Click ‘New’ and type in a name for the layer (e.g. Red). With the layer dialogue box still up, select all the dimensions you wish to change the color for and then click ‘Move’.

 Click on the black square beside the layer name and choose any color.

The dimensions are now displayed in that color.

    Never used it before.
